IPINAGDIINAN ng TV personality na si Korina Sanchez na maraming nagawang kabutihan sa bansa ang asawang si dating Interior Secretary Mar Roxas.
Sa Instagram, binigyang pugay ni Korina ang ama ng kanyang mga anak nitong nakaraang Father’s Day.
“A lot of people ask about why Mar isn’t in politics now. I don’t bother asking him because I know,” aniya.
“Although I do remind him that he has done SO much for this country out of the best years of his life as it is. All 30 or so years in office,” dagdag niya.
Ayon sa veteran broadcaster, naging kongresista ng Capiz si Mar mula 1993 hanggang 2000 bago naging senador mula 2004 hanggang 2010.
Sa administrasyon ni dating Pangulong Noynoy Aquino, nanungkalan si Mar bilang kalihim ng Department of Transportation at Department of the Interior and Local Government.
Pero para kay Korina, ang pagiging ama ni Mar sa kanilang kambal na sina Pepe at Pilar at sa isa pang anak ng mister na si Paolo ang pinakamahalagang posisyon nito.
“Out of all that he has contributed the best way he knows how for the good of this country and its people, his children Paolo, Pepe en Pilar are yet his most priceless legacy for this planet,” aniya.
“And this is now his happiest and most important position to date,” dagdag niya.
