HANGGANG sa mga huling araw na posibleng makalahok si Angel Locsin sa politika, iginiit ng aktres na wala siyang balak tumakbo sa anumang posisyon.
Ayon pa kay Angel, wala siyang alam sa paggawa ng batas bagamat mas madali anya sa kanya ang gumawa ng aksyon.
“I personally don’t see myself being a politician. We all have strengths, and this isn’t one of mine. I don’t know how to create laws and policies. I’m used to taking action, but of a different kind,” ayon sa aktres.
Sa kabila nito, hindi umano niya hinuhusgahan ang mga kasamahan sa industriya na ngayon ay tumatakbo sa pulitika.
“I am not here to judge them because these people really do have the capabilities to help the Filipino people. We should not pull each other down because we are from the same industry. As it is, people think so little of us because we are actors,” dagdag pa ng aktres.
Anya pa, hindi rin siya sigurado kung iboboto niya ang mga ito.
“If these people believe that they can truly help other Filipinos, then go ahead. If I would personally vote for them, I don’t know yet,” chika ni Angel.
“Maybe they agreed to run because they received offers. It’s also a possibility that people approached them with a promise not to worry about campaign expenses, that this will be taken care of. I also think other politicians invited show biz celebs to run because they need known personalities in their political parties.”
