PINURI ni Vice President Sara Duterte nitong Lunes ang unang State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., na nagpahayag na kung ano ang aasahan sa bagong administrasyon.
Sinabi ni Duterte na ipinakita rin sa SONA ni Marcos kung ano ang magagawa ng mga Pilipino upang matulungan ang administrasyon na gawing isang malakas at matatag na bansa sa Asya.
“The first SONA of Marcos offers the Filipinos a glimpse of what we should expect from the government, what we should prepare for, and what we should do to help the administration not only achieve its development agenda but also support its initiatives for the Philippines to become strong and a stable country in Asia, able to respond to the needs of the Filipinos even in the face of anxieties brought by disputes and disagreements happening between some countries that could hurt our economy,” ayon kay Duterte.
Pinuri rin ng Bise Presidente ang direksyon na tinatahak ng administrasyon sa pamamagitan ng pagpapatuloy sa mga plano ng kanyang ama, dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, at lubos na pagsuporta sa kanila.
Bilang Education Secretary, pinangako rin ni Duterte-Carpio ang kanyang sarili sa pagkamit ng mga plano at programa ng Office of the Vice President at Department of Education.
