“As students who value and live by the words ‘Excellence is a tradition,’ we are firm in our resistance towards the College of Law’s acceptance of Lisa Araneta-Marcos’ application as part-time faculty of the College to teach Criminal Law 1,” ayon sa statement ng tanggapan ng student regent.

“Our College of Law students strive every single day to learn and fight for social justice. They finance their education from their own pockets as the College does not enjoy free miscellaneous (fees). It is of greatest irony that one of their teachers is the epitome of a person that enables historical denialism and disinformation networks,” dagdag nito.

“Giving her this platform to teach will only widen their disinformation campaign and their illusion that the Marcos family can run away from their legal obligations from a long line of Supreme Court decision implicating their family of various offenses,” sinabi pa sa kalatas.

“A wife of a current president that faces tax evasion cases that will teach criminal law would be a grave insult to the victims of the Martial Law led by her late father-in-law, who ruled as a despot and a dictator, that until now seeks justice,” hirit pa nila.
