SINABI ng Makabayan bloc na dapat nang matigil ang ginagawang terror at red-tagging matapos ang desisyon ng isang Regional Trial Court (RTC) kung saan ibinasura ang petisyon na ideklarang terorista ang Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) at New People’s Army (NPA).
“Terrorist-tagging and red-tagging by government agencies, officials, as well as by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), the Philippine Natiomal Police (PNP) and the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) and their paid hacks and trolls should immediately cease and desist,” sabi ng Makabayan bloc.
Nauna nang ibinasura ni Manila RTC Judge Marlo A. Magdoza-Malagar ang petisyon ng Department of Justice (DoJ) laban sa CPP at NDF.
“In sum this is a breakthrough decision that should put a stop to red tagging and open the doors to the peace negotiations between the Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP) and the CPP-NPA-NDF,” ayon pa sa Makabayan bloc kabilang sina ACT Teachers party-list Rep. France Castro, Gabriela Women’s party-list Rep. Arlene Brosas and Kabataan party-list Rep. Raoul Danniel Manuel.
