SINAMPAHAN ng reklamong cyber libel ni Barry Gutierrez, tagapagsalita ni presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo, ang Journal News Online kaugnay sa inilabas nitong balita na campaign adviser umano ni VP si Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) Jose Ma. Sison.
Isinampa ni Gutierrez ang reklamo sa Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office ngayong araw.
Kabilang sa mga inireklamo ang reporter na si Lee Ann P. Ducusin; PJI Web News Publishing, ang owner at publisher ng journalnews.com.ph; at ang Philippine Journalists Incorporated, ang publishing corporation.
Giit ni Gutierrez, malisyoso at libelous ang istorya na inilathala ng online site na “Joma admits advising Leni” nitong Abril 21.
“The news article is without due regard for truth, propriety, and fairness, whose author and publishers caused the writing and the publication of a scurrilous, malicious, injurious, false, defamatory, and libelous article in the Journal News Online with the intention of attacking my person, character, and honor and exposing myself to public ridicule, contempt, and hatred,” ani Gutierrez sa reklamo.
Paliwanag ng abogado, ang pagdidikit ng pangalan ni Robredo kay Sison ay isang halimbawa ng red tagging.
