Valenzuela deploys mobile showers to help beat extreme heat

THE Valenzuela City government has deployed mobile showers to communities affected by water supply interruptions amid the extremely hot weather.

Two trucks, retrofitted with four shower enclosures and toilets, handwash basins, and a folding clothes rack, will allow affected residents to have free baths to avoid heat-related health problems.

As of Tuesday, April 30, 2024, the mobile showers have reached the barangays of Gen T. De Leon and Parada.
