NAIS ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos na i-extend ang pagbibigay ng ayuda sa transport sector, at isasama na rin ang mga tricycle driver sa nasabing programa.
Isa ito sa mga pangunahing agenda na pinag-usapan sa kauna-unahang Cabinet meeting ng bagong adminisrtasyon ngayong Martes.
Ayon kay Marcos, napag-usapan na rin ang budget para sa expanded program ng Pantawid Pasada.
“We just discussed that we are going to try not only to continue the fuel subsidy for the transport sector but [also] to expand it to include the tricycles, which up to now have not been included,” ayon kay Marcos sa una niyang press briefing sa Palasyo.
“We talked about in the Cabinet meeting the funding — where it can come from and how we are going to manage the funding for the additional fuel subsidy,” dagdag pa ni Marcos.
