HINDI na mahagilap ng publiko sa video ng panayam ni Luis Manzano kay Claudine Barretto ang mga pagrereklamo ng aktres sa dating asawang si Raymart Santiago.
Bago ito, nagpadala ng liham si Raymart, sa pamamagitan ng kanyang mga abogado, sa ABS-CBN News kaugnay sa mga pahayag ni Claudine sa vlog ni Luis na “Luis Listens.”
Ipinaalala ng mga abogado na mayroong gag order na iniutos ang korte sa mag-asawa dahil dinidinig pa ang kanilang kaso.
“We will not address, dignify, or respond to any statements made by Ms. Barretto regarding our client, for doing so is a breach of the Gag Order issued by the Honorable Court where the parties’ case for nullity of marriage is undergoing trial,” ayon sa statement.
“The Gag Order dated 20 September 2023 of the Honorable Court directed that the parties refrain from expressing in any form, making any defamatory statement or comment, or answer questions pertaining to the other party, and from publicizing the same through print, broadcast media, or digital media. This Gag Order remains to be binding upon the parties,” dagdag nito.
“Section 12 of Republic Act No. 8369, the Family Court Act of 1997, has provided for the confidentiality of court proceedings in child and family cases,” ayon pa sa mga abogado.
Binalaan naman ng mga ito si Claudine at ang mga news outlets na maaari silang makasuhan sa pagsasalita sa ere laban kay Raymart.
“In light of the foregoing, we remind Ms. Barretto and all other media outlets that making, airing, and publishing defamatory statements about our client are violations of a court order. Nobody is above the law. Let this be a stern warning that Ms. Barretto’s act of making false, malicious, and defamatory statements about our client are flagrant violations of the Gag Order issued by the court where the nullity proceedings are pending,” sabi pa nila.
“We will ensure that all legal actions will be taken to protect our client’s rights. The truth regarding the matter will come to light in the proper forum. We continue to put our trust in the judicial system of our country, where due process, justice, and the rule of law have always prevailed,” dagdag warning pa ng mga abogado.
Sa panayam ni Luis, sinabi ni Claudine na babawiin niya ang mga pera na umano’y kinuha ng dating asawa sa kanyang bank account. Kaugnay nito, inihayag ng talent manager at showbiz insider na si Ogie Diaz na ayon umano sa kanyang source ay walang katotohanan ang mga sinabi ni Claudine laban kay Raymart.
“Bilang ano tayo, marites, nagsaliksik ako. Sinasabi nung nakausap ko na wala raw katotohanan lahat ang sinasabi ni Claudine… dahil sa sampu raw na sinabi ni Claudine, ito, ayon sa source ko ha, ay labing-isa ang mali,” ani Ogie. Nagpakasal sina Claudine at Raymart noong May 2004 at nagkahiwalay noong May 2013.
