MISS Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has expressed disappointment over hurtful comments from netizens, including one who claimed to be “praying” for her divorce from husband Jeremy Jauncey.
In a social media post showcasing her outfit of the day (OOTD), Pia received a rude remark questioning her fashion choices: “Why black and brown Hermes purse is all you got? Para madali iterno? Di afford unique design?”
However, the next comment was even more malicious: “Praying for your divorce soon. Soon he will realize you are a user and can’t bring anything to the table. Pero mas maganda if pregnant ka muna so you’ll be divorced single mom. Manifesting.”
Pia did not stay silent. “Just another day, another DM. Wild, right? C’mon people. Bagong taon na. Nag-CNY pa. It’s exhausting, and hurtful din ha,” she replied.
She also urged the public to reflect on the impact of online negativity: “Let’s stop normalizing this kind of online behavior. Out na natin ‘yung ganito for 2025. Instead, let’s be nice to each other and support and uplift one another.”
