HUMINGI ng paumanhin ang GMA Sparkle artist na si Mariel Pamintuan kaugnay sa mga biro niya sa pagdalo sa GMA Thanksgiving Gala noong Sabado.
Sa TikTok video, sinabi niya “dumb jokes and sarcasm” ang mga ipinost niya tungkol sa gala.
“First of all, I want to say that I’m truly sorry and my sincerest apology to all the people I have offended with this video,” ani Mariel.
“That was never my intention and it’s not in my character to insult anyone,” dagdag niya. “I did not expect the people will take this seriously because it’s coming from me.”
Matatandaan na pinintasan ni Mariel sa naunang TikTok video ang pagkain na inihanda sa event ng GMA-7.
“Hello, may sinasabi po siya sa pagkain. Anong lasa ng pagkain?” sey niya. “Okay, sabi po nila, lasang silver spread daw yung pagkain namin.”
Sa isa pang video, sinabi ni Mariel na nagpapanggap lamang itong masaya sa nasabing party.
“Heller! So, nagpapanggap lang akong nag-e-enjoy dito. Hindi kilala ang mga tao dito. Hindi rin nila ako kilala,” aniya.
Sa kanyang apology video, iginiit ni Mariel na nag-enjoy talaga siya sa okasyon.
“I was so thrilled, it was memorable for me and I am grateful to GMA that they included me in such a prestigious event. Unfortunately it was taken out of context.
“I just signed a contract with GMA at di po ako pamilyar sa mga social gatherings that’s why I said ‘Nagpapanggap lang ako na nageenjoy dito di ko sila kilala at di nila ako kilala’ as I was trying not to be awkward.
“Pasensya na simpleng mamamayan lang po ako na gustong mag artista. I didn’t mean to insult anyone with my comments.
“I am truly sorry if I was careless with my words. I understand why some people were offended.
“This is a lesson for me to be more mindful of my words and actions. I am still thankful that people pointed it out because I want to stay in this industry and I want to learn from you all,” sabi niya.
