PUMANAW sa edad na 75 ang miyembro ng Apo Hiking Society na si Danny Javier.
Namatay ang singer-songwriter dahil sa “complications due to his prolonged illnesses,” sinabi ng kanyang anak na si Justine Javier Long sa isang joint statement kasama ang kanyang mga kapatid.
“In life, as in his death, our Pop never stopped fighting for what he loved, what he believed in and what he was passionate about. He left this world with his passion and strength of will intact and we know he would not have it any other way,” aniya.
Hiniling naman ni Long na respetuhin ang privacy ng kanyang pamilya ngayon habang inaayos pa ang funeral ng ama.
“Our family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, prayers and condolences at this difficult time,” dagdag pa niya.
