ISINIWALAT ni dating presidential spokesperson Harry Roque na mananatili siya bilang private legal counsel ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Sa Facebook, inanunsyo ni Roque na P20 lamang ang sahod niya bilang abogado ng Pangulo.
“I confirm that I have been retained as private counsel of PBBM for the pricely sum of 20 pesos,” caption ni Roque sa larawan ng P20 bill.
“As such, all my conversations with the President on legal matters are covered by atty-client confidentiality,” paliwanag ng opisyal.
Kamakailan ay napabilang si Roque sa pulong sa Malacanang kaugnay sa imbestigasyon ng International Criminal Court (ICC) sa drug war campaign sa Pilipinas.
Kasama niya sa meeting sina chief presidential legal counsel Juan Ponce Enrile, Executive Secretary Vic Rodriguez, Solicitor General Menardo Guevarra, Justice Sec. Jesus Crispin Remulla, Foreign Affairs Sec. Enrique Manalo at DFA Legal Affairs chief Assistant Sec. Domingo Nolasco.
