WHO suportado ang PH vs monkeypox

TINIYAK ng World Health Organization (WHO) ang suporta nito sa Pilipinas matapos maitala ang unang kaso ng monkeypox sa bansa.

“The Department of Health has been proactive towards preparedness, prevention, and response to monkeypox, and we will continue our support as the situation evolves,” sabi ni Dr Graham Harrison, Officer-in-Charge ng WHO Philippines.

Ito ay matapos kumpirmahin ng Department of Health (DOH) ang unang kaso ng monkeypox na isang 31-anyos na Pinoy na galing sa bansang na apektado ng nasabing sakit.

“Common symptoms of monkeypox include fever, swollen lymph nodes, and a rash that blisters and crusts. If you think you might have monkeypox, we encourage you to seek medical advice. We at WHO want to highlight that monkeypox can affect anyone, but everyone can help reduce its transmission,” dagdag ni Harrison.
