NASA kustodiya na ng Kamara ang Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp. executive na si Krizle Grace Mago na ilang araw nang naiulat na nawawala.
Sinabi ni House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability chair Rep. Michael Edgar Aglipay, alas-6:30 kagabi nang ilagay sa kanilang kustodiya si Mago.
“She is now safely inside the HOR,” ani Aglipay.
Ayon sa mambabatas, nakatanggap si Speaker Lord Allan Velasco ng liham mula kay Mago na humihigi ng proteksyon.
“Presently I cannot speak freely about the ongoing investigation on the alleged overprice of medical equipment without feeling threatened due to the undue influence and pressure exerted from various sources,” ani Mago sa sulat.
“The protective custody that I am requesting from the HOR would help me speak freely without unnecessary compulsion from anyone,” dagdag nito.
Sa pagdinig ng Senate Blue Ribbon Committee noong Setyembre 24, inamin ni Mago na inatasan siya ng isang opisyal ng kumpanya na utusan ang mga kawani ng warehouse na baguhin ang expiration date ng mga medical face shields. –A. Mae Rodriguez
