“It is always an important day when we sign into law the General Appropriations Act. It is always very important that the GAA (General Appropriations Act) has been put together in consonance with all of the plans of the executive. And that kind of coordination and that kind of synergy that we will gain from that is going to be an essential part of the way that we move forward,” sabi ni Marcos.
“And so I can only thank our friends in the legislature, the members of the Senate, the members of course of the House, and the leadership in our Senate President Migz Zubiri and our Speaker Martin Romualdez and all of those who I know have worked very, very hard,” dagdag ni Marcos.
“When we submitted the NEP (National Expenditure Program) to the Congress, isa lang po ang pakiusap namin na hopefully, if they introduce amendments, it is in sync with the MTFF (Medium-Term Fiscal Framework) and the 8-Point Socioeconomic Agenda. We are grateful that both houses have adopted,” sabi ni Pangandaman.
