NANINIWALA si presidential aspirant at Senador Manny Pacquiao na lalakas pa ang kanyang kandidatura, lalo na sa Mindanao, dahil sa pag-atras ni Senador Bong Go sa presidential race.
“Of course, I’m the only Mindanaoan and Visayan left who’s running for president,” ayon kay Pacquiao matapos mag-withdraw.
“And who will those in Mindanao and in the Visayas support but one of their own?” dagdag pa ni Pacquiao.
Pormal na iniatras ni Go ang kanyang kandidatura nang magtungo ito sa Comelec nitong Martes. Ilang oras matapos ito, umatras din si Pangulong Duterte sa senatorial race.
“Let’s respect his decision because it’s his right to do what he thinks will be good for him,” he added.
Earlier on Tuesday, Go formally withdrew his candidacy. Hours later, President Rodrigo Duterte also backed out from the senatorial race.
