INULAN ng batikos ang aktor at Quezon City Rep. Arjo Atayde makaraang maisapubliko na isa siya sa mga may-akda ng kontrobersyal na House Bill No. 6608 o ang “Maharlika Investment Fund Act.”
Sa tweet ng “Impact Leadership” makikita ang listahan ng mga awtor ng nasabing panukala, kabilang si Atayde.
Layunin ng HB No.6608 na magbuo ng “sovereign wealth fund” na manggagaling sa kita ng mga ari-arian ng pamahalaan.
Sa inisyal na panukala ay kukunin ang pondo mula sa major pension funds at government banks, kabilang ang Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Social Security System (SSS), Land Bank of the Philippines (Land Bank), at Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP).
