NAGBABALA si Health Secretary Francisco Duque III na magagaya ang Pilipinas sa India kung patuloy na hindi susundin ng mga Pilipino ang minimum health protocols na ipinatutupad ng gobyerno.
“Kapag hindi tayo sumunod doon sa ating minimum public health standard, if we do not intensify our COVID-19 pandemic response, like what has happened in India and also in some other countries where the second or third waves are being experienced, that’s a big possibility,” sabi ni Duque sa panayam sa ANC.
Laman ng mga balita ang matinding nararanasan ng India sa kasalukuyan kung saan libo-libo ang namamatay kada araw habang milyon-milyon ang tinatamaan ng coronavirus disease sa nasabing bansa.
“This is a lesson we all have to learn from what’s happening in other countries,” dagdag ni Duque.
Ayon kay Duque, kailangan ng kooperasyon ng lahat para hindi matulad ang Pilipinas sa India.
“At the end of the day we need to work together. Thr whole world is in a crisis,” sabi pa ni Duque.
