IPINAG-UTOS ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na kasuhan ang mga sangkot sa pagbebenta ng bakuna kontra coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
“It has come to the knowledge of everybody sa Task Force that there are an alleged illegal sale of COVID-19 vaccination slots in Mandaluyong City. It is good that Chairman Benhur Abalos ng MMDA and Mandaluyong Mayor Menchie Abalos have acted on this quickly.” sabi ni Duterte sa kanyang Talk to the People.
Iginiit ni Duterte na libre ang mga bakuna at hindi ito papayagan ng pamahalaan ang iligal na aktibidad.
“One is theft, the other one would be — kung sa gobyerno, sa anti-graft law, prejudicial to another, parang ganoon. Ngayon kung sibilyan ka, well, I’m sure na mayrooon…there has to be a law or another — aside from being ‘yong the crime of theft kasi nakawin mo,” dagdag ni Duterte.
