ISINULONG ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa buong bansa.
Sinabi ni Acting Presidential Spokesperson Martin Andanar na hindi naman dapat gawing requirement ang pagbabakuna.
“Instead the IATF strongly encouraged public and private educational institutions for basic education to undertake COVID-19 vaccination programs for their respective learners,” sabi ni Andanar.
Idinagdag ni Andanar na magsasagawa ng pagbabakuna ang Department of Health sa mga paaralan para maengganyo ang mga kabataan.
“The DOH, in coordination with the respective LGUs, shall ensure the proper implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination programs for basic education learners in public and private educational institutions,” ayon pa kay Andanar.
