Following the continued rising number of coronavirus infections in Metro Manila, the Pasig City government has suspended the reopening of recreational establishments.
In an executive order, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has recalled earlier plans to reopen recreational establishments such as video and interactive arcades, libraries, museums, cultural centers, and tourist attractions.
The city government will also impose the uniform curfew hours set by Metro Manila mayors beginning midnight Monday, 15 March and will last for two weeks The curfew is set from 10 p.m to 5 a.m.
These moves are being taken to address the continuing surge of Covid-19 cases in the metropolis, including Pasig City.
As of March 11, the city has recorded a total of 11,932 confirmed Covid-19 cases with 447 deaths and 11,095 recoveries.
