No LPA monitored but isolated rain showers to prevail over most parts of PH Thursday

MOST parts of the country will experience isolated rain showers, the weather bureau said Thursday.

As of 10 a.m. , the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said it did not monitor any low pressure area (LPA)

Due to the northeasterly wind flow, Batanes, Apayao, and Cagayan will experience cloudy skies with rains, said weather specialist Benison Estareja of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

“Localized thunderstorms will continue to prevail over the rest of the country,” he said, adding that this will cause isolated rain showers.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas still prevail across the archipelago.

Meanwhile, Estareja said no weather disturbance is expected to form or enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility this week. (PNA)
