CLOUDY skies with isolated rains will prevail over several parts of the country due to the shear line, the northeast monsoon or “amihan,” and the easterlies, the weather bureau said Wednesday.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, and the northern portion of Quezon.
Meanwhile, the Cordillera Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
The “amiihan” will likewise bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Regions, and the rest of Central Luzon.
The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms, PAGASA said.
Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over Luzon, the Visayas, and the eastern sections of Mindanao, while the rest of Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
Temperature in Metro Manila will range from 25°C to 32°C; Baguio City, 15°C to 24°C; Laoag City, 22°C to 31°C; Legazpi City, 25°C to 31°C; Metro Cebu, 26°C to 31°C; Puerto Princesa City, 24°C to 32°C; and Metro Davao, 24°C to 32°C. (PNA)
