RAPPER Omar Manzano aka “Omar Baliw” has accused Pastor Apollo Quiboloy’s camp of using his song “K&B” as a campaign jingle without his consent.
Omar discovered the unauthorized use of his music after seeing a video of Quiboloy’s recent proclamation rally in Pasig City. In the clip, a campaign jingle set to the tune of “K&B” was played during the event.
Frustrated by what he saw, the rapper took to Facebook to call out the incident. “Di pa nakaupo, nagnakaw na agad. Wala kameng kinalaman dito. Pwede ba to ipa-barangay? Hahaha. Awit,” he wrote.
When a netizen accused him of being “bayaran,” Omar responded that using his song in a political rally without permission was both wrong and unfair.
“Ganito ang pinsala pag maling impormasyon ang makakarating sa tao. Uulitin ko ulit, wala kameng kinalaman dyan. Ninakaw ang music namin at binaboy,” he said.
To emphasize his stance, the rapper posted a video of himself performing “K&B” and captioned it: “Eto legit.”
