CONTENT creator Vivian Vinuya, who went viral for lying inside an Alfamart freezer, has apologized after the company announced plans to sue her.
“Pasensya kung nagawa ko ‘yon. Hahaha. Try again uli,” Vinuya said in a Facebook video, addressing Alfamart management after her stunt made the rounds online.
In the same video, she responded to sarcastic remarks from viewers:
“Bes, mukha ka daw bilasang isda?”
“Hindi ako isda, tao ako.”
“Umasim daw ang yelo sa Alfamart?”
“Ba’t aasim? Bagong ligo ako nun.”
“Kahit nakaplastik ang yelo, dirty na daw kasi dirty ka?”
“Nakaplastik nga, ’di ba? Kung nakabukas ’yon, madumi na. Kung alam lang namin, binili na namin ’yon. Nakakastress.”
Alfamart earlier released a statement condemning what it called the “unauthorized and harmful use” of its store equipment. The company said it has launched a thorough investigation and will pursue legal action against those involved.
“We are compelled to pursue legal action against those responsible for the improper use of our store equipment,” Alfamart said. “This also extends to any other individuals who may imitate or adopt similar behavior, as it is crucial for us to protect our brand and reputation.”
The company added that it immediately removed all affected ice products, sanitized the freezer, and replaced its inventory.
“We uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety in our stores, and we took swift action to ensure the safety of our customers,” it said.
