THE FAMILY of DJ Jellie Aw is urging her not to forgive her partner, businessman Jam Ignacio, after he admitted to physically hurting her. They also want her to push through with the case she filed against him.
Jellie’s sister, Jo, warned her against reconciling with Jam, saying she would only invite ridicule if she took him back.
“Magiging kwento ka pag binalikan mo,” Jo wrote in a Facebook post, where she shared a news report about Jam’s recent interview.
In the interview, Jam publicly apologized to Jellie and her family, insisting that what happened was a mistake that would not happen again. He also said he still wanted to marry her.
“Alam niya na mahal na mahal ko si Jellie,” he said. “Gusto ko siya ang makasama ko habambuhay. Gusto ko siyang pakasalan.”
He denied going into hiding after Jellie sought the help of the National Bureau of Investigation, saying he was merely waiting for the right time to speak up.
“Hon, alam mo yan kung gano kita kamahal… nagmamakaawa ako sayo, sana ayusin natin ‘to. Sorry, sorry sa lahat. Hindi na mauulit, pangako ko yan sayo,” he pleaded.
