OLYMPIC gold medalist Carlos Yulo and his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, caught netizens’ attention with an exchange during the San Miguel Corporation-Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Awards Night at The Manila Hotel on Monday.
While Eldrew was being interviewed, his kuya Carlos approached and gave him a quick hug. He told him,“Sabay ako e. Sabay ako.”
Carlos then turned to Chloe, who was in the background, and asked her, “Isasama ba natin ’to?” to which the girlfriend replied, “Sige, hatid natin.”
Carlos was honored as the 2024 Athlete of the Year, while Eldrew received recognition for his achievements, including a gold medal in the junior category of the Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, last May.
