CONTROVERSIAL actress Rufa Mae Quinto pulled a “Sharon Cuneta” at the birthday celebration of her close friend, Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar, by taking home food from the event.
In an Instagram post, Quinto expressed her gratitude to Villar for the takeout packages, which consisted mainly of Japanese cuisine served at Wagyu Manila in Makati.
The intimate gathering also served as a reunion for Quinto and her longtime friends—Villar, TV host Mariel Rodriguez, former Valenzuela councilor Shalani Soledad, and Grace Lee.
“Wala na ako ma-caption sa kanilang apat, kundi na-miss ko sila. Salamat sa lahat ng pagmamahal niyo sa akin. Salamat na din sa takeout! Haha. Mahal ko sila,” Quinto wrote in her post.
She added: “I believe in them like how they believe in me. In short, we believe in each other… dahil sa akin, bawal na daw magreklamo sa buhay nila after all na naganap sa life ko! Sabi ko naman, ‘Yess, there’s always brightness to contrast. So let’s trast each other! Tiwala lang, guysh! I trast y’all!’”
Quinto shared that the five of them have maintained their close friendship since co-hosting Willie Revillame’s game show 16 years ago.
