MEGASTAR Sharon Cuneta is grieving the loss of Bacon, the beloved pig mascot of their family’s Sweet Spring Country Farm in Cavite.
Bacon had been part of their farm for over a decade before passing away on March 1 at the age of 13.
“Our hearts are crying… Our favorite pig in our farm, our Bacon, suddenly passed away,” Sharon wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post.
“She just refused to wake up that morning, having refused food for a couple of days before then. We love you, our baby girl…” she added.
Sharon also recalled Bacon’s unique bond with their farm dogs.
“You forgot you were a pig the moment the piggies ostracized you, but the dogs were kind—that you even learned how to ‘bark’ like them!” she shared.
“Thank you for the love and happiness you gave all of us. We will always remember you and will always love you,” the actress-host said.
