KAPUSO star Ruru Madrid is back on the set of “Lolong” after four days of bed rest due to a pulled hamstring.
Although his doctor advised two to three weeks of rest, the actor insisted on returning to work, assuring his medical team and production staff that he would limit his movements.
“Nakikipag-coordinate ako sa production kung paano namin maaayos ang mga eksena,” he shared in a recent Instagram post.
Determined to keep the show going, Ruru collaborated with the entire team to adjust scenes and revise the script to fit his current physical limitations.
“Mahirap—dahil yung isip ko gustong-gusto na, pero ‘yung katawan ko may hangganan pa,” he said.
He expressed deep gratitude to the Lolong family for their support, care, and flexibility. “Totoo talaga—hindi lang talento ang bumubuo ng isang proyekto, kundi malasakit at pagmamahalan sa isa’t isa,” he added.
The actor also thanked his fans, his family, his girlfriend Bianca Umali, and God for giving him strength and purpose. “Hindi hadlang ang injury kapag buo ang puso. Para sa sining. Para sa pangarap. Para sa mga taong naniniwala sa ’kin,” he said.
