MAGTATANGHAL ng virtual fund raising concert ang singer/actress na si Nadine Lustre para sa makatulong sa mga displaced drag artists at matatandang bading.
Ipalalabas ang concert na “Nadine, Together With Us” sa TaskUs PH Facebook page alas-6:30 ng gabi sa June 28.
Makakasama ni Nadine ang ilang miyembro ng drag community na labis na naapektuhan ng pandemya.
Ani Nadine, hanga siya mga drag queens dahil sa pagiging artistic ng mga ito.
“I have always admired drag queens and the level of artistry that they put into every look and act. It’s an art that only drag queens can pull off, so to lose them in the scene is also to lose a unique art form,” pahayag niya.
“I am very proud to be part of a cause and help amplify the voices of our queer community. To all members of the LGBTQIA+ community, I want you to know that you are loved and valued,” dagdag ng aktres.
Ang makakalap na pondo ay ibibigay sa Home for the Golden Gays Foundation, isang non-profit organization na sumusuporta sa elderly LGBTQIA+ community. –A. Mae Rodriguez
