NAG-ISYU ng apology ang actress-TV host na si Maine Mendoza matapos lumutang ang mga luma niyang tweet na pinupuna ang ilang celebrities at ginamit ang salitang “bading” bilang pang-insulto.
Sa Twitter post, sinabi ni Maine na umaasa siyang mauunawaan at mapapatawad siya ng publiko.
“I’ve been receiving a lot of messages about my tweets several years ago. Sending my sincerest apologies to those whom I have offended with my tweets way back then,” aniya.
“It was my careless self talking and I didn’t mean to offend anyone. I am sincerely sorry,” dagdag ni Maine.
Sa sumunod na tweet, humirit siya ng “Through the years, I have learned to be more careful with my thoughts and words – and how it would affect the people around me. Praying for everyone’s safety and sanity in these trying times.”
