ACTRESS Lara Quigaman has completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education with distinction from Langara College in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Quigaman moved to Canada last year with her husband, actor Marco Alcaraz, and their sons Noah, Tobias, and Moses.
In an Instagram post, the 2005 Miss International titleholder reflected on their journey and the sacrifices they made to pursue a new life abroad.
“Our family has always prayed that God would lead us to a place where we could be closer to one another and to Him—wherever that may be, no matter how difficult the path,” she wrote. “Today is the beautiful result of every sacrifice and challenge we’ve faced and overcome by His grace.”
Quigaman said leaving behind their careers and their life in the Philippines was not easy, but they followed a dream that had long been in their hearts.
“God has not only answered that prayer—He has done far more than we could have imagined, and He continues to work in us and through us,” she added.
“All this is because of Him. To Him alone belongs all glory, honor, and praise. Thank You, Jesus!”
