IBINASURA ng abogado ni Bea Alonzo ang mga alegasyon ng dating driver ng aktres sa reklamong isinampa nito sa National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Ayon kay Atty. Joey Garcia ng Garcia Elauria Ruanto & Associates, walang katotohanan ang mga paratang kay Bea ng driver na si Efren delos Reyes Jr.
Ani Reyes, kaduda-duda ang timing ng mga reklamo laban kay Bea dahil may cyberlibel complaint na isinampa ang aktres laban sa “lover” ni delos Reyes.
“Since he was made a witness to one of the respondents among the criminal cases we filed not to mention him being a lover as admitted, then the intent behind said filing and the timeliness of such filing are too obvious not to be noticed,” ayon sa abogado.
“His acknowledgment of being involved as a lover clearly magnifies his bias and undermines his credibility which yet again puts into question or doubt the true intent behind his and her lover-respondent’s legal maneuvers,” paliwanag nito.
Giit pa ni Garcia: “For the record, Mr. Delos Reyes only served as service driver of the family and only for a short period of 3 months, he was not even assigned as Bea’s personal driver, for her professional engagements. Thus, his claims seem farfetched, unreasonable, if not unrealistic.”
“It’s nothing but a pure harassment case, a desperate attempt to sponge off, an obvious act capitalizing on the criminal case,” sambit pa niya.
Sa kanyang radio program na “Cristy Ferminute sa Radyo” noong nakaraang Huwebes, inanunsyo ng showbiz insider na nakakuha siya ng kopya ng reklamo ng driver laban kay Bea.
“Ito, nakuha ko ito, lehitimong balita po ito dahil ang dati pong driver ni Bea Alonzo, na ang tunay na pangalan ay Phylbert Angelli Ranollo, nagkaso po siya. Naghain na po ng kaso si Efren Torres delos Reyes, Jr. sa NLRC Department of Labor and Employment,” ani Cristy.
Kabilang sa mga reklamo ni delos Reyes ang hindi pagbibigay ng night shift differential pay, overtime pay, holiday pay, 13th-month pay, at payment of separation pay. Nakaranas din umano ng illegal dismissal, maltreatment, at harassment si delos Reyes mula sa dating amo.
