SINGER Mystica fired back at netizens who cast doubt on her claim that she is the general manager of a Burger King branch on West Flamingo Road in Las Vegas.
Some social media users questioned her role, citing her uniform which resembled that of regular staff. Others claimed they had called the branch and were told she was not the manager.
“It’s impossible for someone who was just hired to become a general manager,” one netizen added.
Mystica, however, stood her ground.
“That’s the phone number and address. Go or call them and ask if I am really a General Manager of Burger King or not before they will transfer me next month to another location closer to me,” she wrote on Facebook.
“Lahat ng employees ay dapat naka-uniform tulad ng suot ko dahil pinagbawalan akong gumamit ng executive suit at pinatanggal na rin pati yung vest ko! Rule is rule! Don’t be ignorant!” the singer said.
She also explained why she had not filmed herself at work.
“I cannot video myself while on the job as the general manager. It is against the company policy. I can only make a video when I am taking my lunch break!” she added.
Frustrated by the backlash, Mystica lashed out at critics.
“Kaya wala kayong asenso dahil mas ibinubuhos n’yo ang oras niyo sa Facebook para laitín ang isang taong tulad ko na walang tigil sa pagsusumikap,” she said.
