HINDI itinago ng aktres na si Andrea Brillantes ang inis sa ilang pet owners na iniwan ang kanilang mga alaga sa kasagsagan ng bagyong Carina.
Sa Instagram post, tinawag ni Andrea ang mga ito na “irresponsible” dahil pinabayaan nilang maghirap ang mga hayop.
Giit niya, uunahin niyang isalba ang mga alaga kung siya ang nasa posisyon ng mga ito.
“Rain or shine, I can never leave my pets behind. They are more than just pets; they are companions, partners, and friends. They are family,” sey niya.
Kaya naman magkahalong lungkot at inis ang naramdaman niya nang mabalitaan na maraming hayop ang nalunod sa baha.
“I am saddened by the fur babies whose lives were taken away by this typhoon due to irresponsibility. People caged them, tied them up, and abandoned them,” pahayag niya.
“If you cannot take responsibility for the lives of your pets, then please don’t let them suffer like this,” dagdag niya.
Gayunman, nakikiramay siya sa lahat ng mga naapektuhan ng bagyo. “My heart also goes out to everyone who was affected by the typhoon, both humans and pets…May we all have accountability and help one another,” sabi ni Andrea.
