TULOY ang kasong cyber libel na isinampa ni Drivers United for Mass Progress and Equal Rights (Dumper) Rep. Claudine Bautista-Lim sa aktor na si Enchong Dee.
Ito ay matapos aprubahan ng prosecutor’s Office sa Davao Occidental ang pormal na pagsasampa ng kaso sa korte dahil sa diumano’y nakakita ito ng basehan para mailarga ang reklamong inihain laban sa Kapamilya actor.
Ilan pang artista ang isinangkot sa reklamo ngunit ibinasura ito ng prosecutor base sa resolusyuon na inilabas noong Nobyembre 16.
Ibinasura ang reklamo ni Bautista-Lim laban kay Agot Isidro, Pokwang at Ogie Diaz.
Ayon sa lumabas na resolusyon, hindi maituturing na paninirang-puri ang mga ipinost ng ibang respondents dahil ipinahahayag lamang nila ang kanilang saloobin.
“Considering that these tweets are mere expressions of disapproval (or disgust, if you may) at varying degrees on the action, this Office could not attribute malice and ill motive to the said respondents who have taken upon themselves to be the so-called watchdogs of our society,” ayon sa resolusyon na aprubado ni Davao Occidental Provincial Prosecutor Marte Melchor Velasco.
Iba umano ito sa naging pahayag ni Enchong lalo’t may sinabi ito tungkol sa usaping “malversation of public funds” na “which peremptorily makes the complainant a soft target for heavy criticism and pillory, placing her thereby in a bad light due to such reckless and irresponsible tweet of the respondent.”
