SUPPORTERS of former president Rodrigo Duterte slammed a survey question on GMA-7’s game show “Family Feud”, claiming it was a subtle dig at the former leader.
The question, asked by host Dingdong Dantes, was: “Sa Pilipinas, ang mga suspek na inaaresto ay isinasakay sa…?” The answer choices were: a.) police car and b.) eroplano.
As the question was read, the camera panned to the audience, who were seen laughing.
Netizens quickly reacted after a clip of the question was shared online, with many Duterte supporters accusing the show of mocking Duterte and his legal troubles.
Online commenters expressed their outrage, with one saying, “Naku Dingdong, sa dami ng puwedeng itanong, ‘yan pa talaga ang tinanong niyo? Hindi nakakatawa!” Another wrote, “Sinadya ‘yan syempre, GMA pa! Mga kulang sa pansin!” Others added, “Dingdong, hindi ka nakakatawa!!!” and “GMA, you’re so disgraceful!”
Neither Family Feud nor GMA-7 has issued a statement regarding the backlash.
