NAGLABAS na ng pahayag si Dominic Roque upang linawin at itanggi ang mga isyu na ipinupukol sa kanya ng showbiz columnist na si Cristy Fermin.
Sa pamamagitan ng kanyang mga abogado sa Fernandez & Singson Law Offices, kinondena ni Dominic ang mga malisyoso at mapanirang-puri na pahayag ni Fermin.
Dagdag niya, ang mga paninira ni Fermin “were made under the guise of entertainment news without any effort from her to confirm the same from Mr. Dominic Roque.”
Klinaro ng aktor na hindi niya “benefactor” si Dapitan City Mayor Bullet Jalosjos kundi may-ari ng inuupahan niyang condominium unit.
“He is embarrassed and apologizes to Mayor Bullet Jalosjos and his family for being dragged into the public conversation because of the malicious, defamatory public innuendos of Ms. Fermin,” dagdag ng kalatas.
Itinanggi rin ni Dominic na may relasyon sila ni dating Quezon City Rep. Bong Suntay.

“By making such a statement, Ms. Fermin made the innuendo that unreasonably casts doubt on the sexuality of former Congressman Bong Suntay,” ayon sa statement.
“Furthermore, Mr. Dominic Roque does not own a Clean Fuel gas station; in fact, all Clean Fuel gas stations are company-owned.”
Sa huli, nilinaw ni Roque na naghiwalay sila ni Bea hindi dahil sa “disagreement over a prenuptial agreement.”
“Reckless statements relating to the alleged disagreement over a pre-nuptial agreement between them are not only unverified but merely based on speculations intended to produce a negative image on the parties concerned,” sabi pa sa kalatas.
