KUNG meron isa pang natutuwa sa pagkaaaresto ng aktor/TV host na si Vhong Navarro at pag-usad ng kasong rape laban dito, malamang ay ang negosyanteng si Cedric Lee ito.
Sa kanyang pahayag na ibinigay sa ABS-CBN News, naniniwala si Lee na “vindicated” siya matapos maaresto at makulong si Navarro dahil sa kasong rape na isinampa sa kanya ng modelong si Deniece Cornejo.
Una nang na-convict at nakulong si Lee dahil sa grave coercion case nang gulpihin nito si Navarro noong 2014.
“He has to face all the charges against him. Just like we did. I feel slightly vindicated [because] finally we will have our day in court after almost 9 years. This serial rapist will finally be made to answer for all the women he raped.
“He [can’t] hide anymore behind (Leila) de Lima who’s now in jail, or (Tony) Calvento who’s now dead, or ABS who lost its franchise. His modus operandi of being a serial rapist will now be exposed,” pahayag ni Lee sa ABS-CBN.
Ang pinatutungkulan ni Lee rito ay sina dating Senador Leila de Lima na siyang Justice Secretary noong 2014; ang yumaong kolumnista na si Tony Calvento na nasawi noong 2017; at ang network na ABS-CBN kung saan si Navarro ay talent nito.
