ACTRESS Carla Abellana slammed an online report claiming she and estranged husband Tom Rodriguez have reconciled and even threatened to sue the outlet and its anonymous source for libel.
The report, which Carla shared in a now-viral Instagram story, cited unnamed “insiders close to the Abellana family” who supposedly said that her “heart softened” toward Tom after everything they had been through.
“Despite the pain, she never spoke ill of him and still believed he had a good heart — just lost along the way,” the article read, adding that Tom had “quietly” returned to the Philippines and had supposedly reached out to Carla, leading to conversations that “reportedly turned into healing and forgiveness.”
The write-up further claimed that Carla’s father eventually gave his blessing to the two after seeing his daughter’s “emotional growth.”
Carla, however, was quick to deny the claims and did not mince words. “Eh kung kasuhan ko nalang kayo at yang ‘source’ ninyo ng libel?” she wrote.
Tom has a new partner with whom he shares a child.
