NAKATAKDANG imbestigahan ng Philippine National Police ang pagkamatay ng senior citizen sa community pantry na inorganisa ng aktres na si Angel Locsin para sa kanyang birthday.
Sa kalatas, umapela rin ni Interior Secretary Eduardo Año sa mga organizers ng mga community pantries na makipag-ugnayan sa mga pulis at local government units upang masigurong masusunod ang Covid-19 protocols.
“It’s the organizer’s responsibility to impose the minimum health standards. That’s the primary reason why they have to coordinate with the LGUs local government units so that the latter can provide assistance,” ani Año.
At dahil may namatay sa inorganisang food drive ni Locsin, “the PNP has to conduct an investigation. We cannot ascertain yet who could be liable until the completion of the investigation,” dagdag niya.
