INAPRUBAHAN ng Quezon City council ang resolusyon na inihain ni outgoing Councilor Ivy Lagman na ideklarang persona non grata sa siyudad ang komedyanang si Ai Ai dela Alas at ang direktor na si Darryl Yap kaugnay sa umano’y paglapastangan sa seal ng siyudad.
Sa resolusyon na inaprubahan Martes ng gabi, inaatasan sina delas Alas at Yap na humingi ng tawad sa kanilang pambabastos sa triangular seal ng QC sa video kung saan ikinakampanya si dating Rep. Mike Defensor.
Sa video ay makikitang nilagyan ng “BBM” at “SARA” ang magkabilang sulok ng triangular seal.
“I am calling all the content creators, especially Mr. Darryl Yap and Ms. Ai-Ai delas Alas, and many others who were part of this project, to apologize to the citizens of Quezon City for debasing and bastardizing the beloved seal of Quezon City,” giit ni Lagman.
“It is a great disrespect and disregard of the laws of our land to superimpose the said seal just to campaign for a politician… I reiterate our call for these people, Mr. Darryl Yap, Ms. Ai-Ai delas Alas, Cong. Mike Defensor and his cohorts, to apologize to the citizens of Quezon City for said actions, and also promise to never do such acts again,” hirit pa ng konsehal.
Wala pang sagot sina delas Alas, Yap at Defensor sa isyu.
