IPINAGTANGGOL ni Albay Rep. Joey Salceda si Vice President Leni Robredo matapos ang red-tagging sa kanya ni Cavite Rep. Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla.
“Vice President Robredo was endorsed by at least 33 Generals and Admirals, including 4 former AFP Chiefs of Staff. Insinuations that she will somehow bend to insurgent or rebel groups are unfounded, to say the least,” sabi ni Salceda.
Nauna nang sinabi ni Remulla na may mga miyembro ng Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) na dumalo sa campaign sortie ni Robredo sa Cavite.
“The root cause of insurgency remains to be poverty. For that reason, I was among those who defended the Barangay Development Program of the NTF-ELCAC, despite the opposition of others to the Task Force as a whole. We have to approach the peace and order from a holistic perspective,” ayon pa kay Salceda.
