NAGPALIWANAG ang Presidential Security Group sa ginawang paggamit ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos sa presidential chopper para makapanood ng concert ng Coldplay sa Philippine Arena sa Bulacan.
Ginawa ng PSG ang paliwanag matapos mag-trending ang mga photos ni Marcos kasama si First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos na gumamit ng chopper para sa unang gabi ng concert ng British group.
“Yesterday, the Philippine Arena experienced an unprecedented influx of 40,000 individuals eagerly attending a concert, resulting in unforeseen traffic complications along the route,” ayon kay PSG commander Maj. Gen. Nelson Morales.
Naisip anya nila ang seguridad ng pangulo dahil sa “unexpected challenges” dala ng matinding trapiko.
“Recognizing that this traffic situation posed a potential threat to the security of our President, the PSG took decisive action by opting for the presidential chopper,” ayon pa kay Morales.
Umaasa rin anya siyang mauunawaan ng publiko ang kanilang desisyon.
“Your continued understanding and support for these measures are crucial in maintaining the safety and well-being of our nation’s leadership,” dagdag pa nito.
Ang concert ng Coldplay nitong Enero 19-20 ay bahagi ng world tour ng grupo na “Music of the Spheres”.
