TINIYAK ni Pangulong Duterte na mananatili ang magandang ugnayan ng Pilipinas at China sa kabila ng sigalot sa West Philippine Sea.
“And I’d like to remind everybody that when everything was down for us, it was China for whatever really is masabi nila about the relations of the Philippines and China, I would maintain that we are good friends and they were the first one to give us the vaccines,” sabi ni Duterte sa kanyang Talk to the People Lunes ng gabi.
Ginawa ni Duterte ang pahayag sa kabila nang sunod-sunod na panghaharass ng China sa Pilipinas sa WPS.
“Iyong issue diyan sa West Philippine Sea ibang issue ‘yan at ibang issue itong pagkakaibigan natin sa kanila,” giit ni Duterte.
