NAKIKIPAG-UGNAYAN na ngayon ang Cebu Pacific sa Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) para imbestigahan ang akusasyon ng isa nilang piloto laban kay Vice President Leni Robredo na diumano’y humirit na bigyang prayoridad ang kanyang flight noong isang buwan.
Sa kanyang Facebook page, sinabi ng piloto na nag-request si Robredo na bigyang prayoridad ang kanyang flight. Sinabi pa nito, kasama sa nasabing flight ng budget carrier ang Australian ambassador.
Nag-viral umano ang post, ayon sa pamunuan ng Cebu Pacific, at tinanggal na rin umano ito ng piloto.
“Sensitive company information and operational details must not be disclosed publicly – even when factual and more so, if erroneous to prevent the spread of disinformation,” ayon sa Cebu Pacific nitong Lunes.
Nilinaw naman ng airline na nirerespeto nito ang freedom of expression at hindi nito hinahadlangan ang mga karapatan ng kanilang mga empleyado.
“Cebu Pacific respects freedom of speech and expression and does not prevent its employees from having or expressing their own political beliefs. However, as a Company, we are also governed by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and our Company’s Code of Discipline.”
“CEB will address this item internally with the concerned stakeholder(s) based on our Company guidelines,” dagdag pa ng Cebu Pacific.
