VINETO ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos ang ilang probisyon ng P5.268 2023 national budget.
Kabilang sa mga na-veto ay ang probisyon kaugnay ng paggamit ng pondo ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC).
“Further, Section 66 of PD No. 1445 and Section 45, Chapter 5, Book VI of EO No. 292 prescribe that receipts shall be recorded as income of Special, Fiduciary or Trust Funds or Funds other than the General Fund only when authorized by law,” sabi ni Marcos sa kanyang veto message.
“Further, the funding requirements for the operations of the NLRC are already fully provided under this Act,” dagdag ni Marcos.
Kabilang pa sa mga na-veto ay ang revolving fund ng Department of Education (DepEd)-Office of the Secretary (OSEC).
Na-veto rin ni Marcos ang probisyon kung saan hindi maaaring maglaan ng pondo para sa pagpapalit ng tourism slogan ng Department of Tourism (DOT).
Sinabi ni Marcos na sa ilalim ng Republic Act (RA) No. 9593 o The Tourism Act of 2009, may kapangyarihan ang DOT na isulong ang promosyon ng turismo sa bansa.
