HINDI na nagtataka si Senador Risa Hontiveros nang kumpirmahin ni Pangulong Duterte na tatakbo siya pagkabise presidente sa darating na eleksyon.
“Sabi ko nga, e di wow,” sagot ni Hontiveros nang tanungin ukol sa pagtakbo ni Duterte sa Eleksyon 2022.
“Every party has its own nomination process, but it seems some gatekeepers in PDP-Laban have turned Ka Nene Pimentel’s original party into a zombie, an institution only performing rituals devoid of substance and principle,” ayon sa senador.
Giit pa niya masyadong maraming drama ang Presidente pagdating sa usapang pagtakbo nito sa posisyon.
“The President started his presidential run with a lot of drama, and it looks like he’ll be leaving us the same way, trying to confuse us, and we, the Filipino people, still searching for a true leader.”
Naniniwala si Hontiveros na hindi naaayon sa Konstitusyon ang pagsabak ni Duterte sa vice presidential race.
“Ang dami-dami nang nagbuhos ng kritisismo diyan that that is a blatantly unconstitutional and simply wrong use of any public office.”
